My work that has found its forever home

On the Easel Today

I'm currently working on the painting below, a study of the Sacred Datura in bud and bloom. I will add photos to this section as the painting progresses. The work will go through many changes as it progresses. It measures 16x20.

I use photos for reference only. I paint 'from scratch,' usually starting with a big brush and gradually reducing brush size as I add more detail. When I am satisfied, I live with the painting until I'm certain it's finished. Then I sign it.
